Gentu has the ability to send and receive electronic correspondence - enabling you to securely and quickly communicate with other practitioners. There are a number of providers who offer this service outlined below. When considering which provider to utilise for sending correspondence you may wish to consider what is in use by the majority of those colleagues that you will be communicating with.
If you already use any of these providers we recommend you contact them and advise that you will be migrating to Gentu and provide them with your implementation date so they can ensure they have adjusted your service as required. There is no need to install additional software for these providers - this is all handled by Gentu.
There is no additional cost to receive documents via HealthLink however additional costs are incurred if you wish to send correspondence electronically. To send or receive via HealthLink you will need to complete the HealthLink Application Form. Upon successful registration, Healthlink will notify you of your Healthlink ID which will be used to configure Gentu at the time of your implementation.
Please note: on the application form there is a field for HPI-I and HPI-O - these relate to My Health Record, and are not relevant for use with Gentu, so please leave those fields on the application blank.
