We want to ensure that you can get the most out of your implementation day so we've designed the below checklist to help assist with maximising your training time and ensure that we can personalise your Gentu database accordingly. Please provide the relevant items to your implementation co-ordinator a week before your implementation. If you haven't you will need to ensure that you do have them available on the day of your training:
Organising your Letter Templates
- For any existing letter templates you have been previously using and wish to continue to use in Gentu we recommend copying these letters into a Microsoft Word document to then be able to transfer into Gentu
- Letterheads and Logo’s will also need to be reinserted. The ideal size for the letterhead to optimise clear printing should be 793px*170px to ensure it fits neatly
- If the letterhead requires a logo, a copy of the logo in .jpg, .bmp or .tiff format
- Standard letter templates to be created in Gentu (please note that Genie staff will show you how to set up templates yourself, and will have time to do one or two as an example only)
- Patient handouts in electronic format (eg Word, PDF etc)
Appointments
- Please prepare and have a record of each of your doctors' schedule
- Appointment preferences for each provider including appointment types (eg if one doctor typically has 15 minute consultations but another has 20 minutes we can use this to configure your database accordingly).
Private Billing
- List of current private fees you will be using
- AMA fee schedule (if applicable)
- Ensure you have completed the required paperwork and spoken with the health funds as outlined in our Medicare Online Billing and ECLIPSE article.
Additional Data
- If you had a data conversion performed for you there may have been some time since the copy of your previous software data was taken. During this time you would have maintained manual records. You will need these manual records of the patient data so that your trainer can assist you with the process for entering this into Gentu.
- All staff names and their individual email addresses
